Why does my order payment still state Payment pending when PayPal says that I made the payment? Last Updated: 12/08/2010 |

What happens is that the store engine passes along the relevant order information to Paypal for you to complete the sale by sending payment on Paypal’s site when you order. However, Paypal does not pass back any information to our store engine that it has received payment. This remains a manual process for all Paypal payments in our system. When the order is ready to ship, we check to make sure payment is received and the order is marked as payment received at that time.
